Wine Tasting
Piedmont, located in the north of Italy, is renowned among wine enthusiasts for its exceptional wines. The vineyards of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato have been recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites since the summer of 2014. The surroundings of Festina Lente are home to many private and social wine cellars.
Book a tasting at one of the wineries and, in addition to a tour of the vineyards and among the wine barrels where the delicious wine matures, receive expert explanations about wine cultivation and production, with the opportunity to taste some of these beautiful wines. Some winegrowers limit themselves to a tasting, while others turn this into a complete experience.
In the vicinity, you'll find several social wine cellars that gather grapes from various small winegrowers to produce delicious and affordable wines. Often, tastings are available there too.
