B&B Festina Lente

Welcome to our B&B Festina Lente in Castagnassa, Rocchetta Tanaro!

We are Robby and Veerle, and in 2017 we bought an old wine farm to convert it into a B&B, or how we prefer to call it: A boutique hotel.  For 5 years, we dedicated ourselves to renovating and modernizing the building. Traveling between Belgium and Piedmont with a car full of materials and heads full of ideas, we started this journey.
Our B&B is nestled amidst the tranquil countryside, surrounded by vineyards, far from the hustle and bustle. Yet, we are close enough to several charming towns that offer plenty of variety in restaurants, bars, and local shops. The nearest town, Nizza Monferrato, the heart of the Barbera wine region, is just 15 minutes away. The slightly larger cities of Asti and Alessandria are both 20 km away, making our location perfect for exploring the region.

About our B&B

The old wine farm has been converted into a bed and breakfast. Each room has its own private bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a public area and a swimming pool with an outdoor kitchen. The old charm of the wine farm is reflected in the small details that were restored during the renovation works.

The public room on the ground floor is the ideal place to meet friends and other guests, and is available to everyone during the entire stay. You will find different things to do and an honesty bar with cold and hot drinks.

Our swimming pool overlooks the vineyard which is located at the foot of the hill. Near the swimming pool, the old garage has been converted into a pool house and outdoor kitchen. Guests can use it to prepare a meal on site if they don't feel like going to a restaurant.

The terrace is south-facing and is sunny all day long. It is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast in the morning, enjoy a glass of wine and relax in the sun.
Every morning we serve a delicious three-course breakfast. We start with an appetizer and end after the main course with a sweet dessert. All made with local and homemade products.
